Ready for Computer Science Deep dive?
Foundational knowledge of computer science is a MUST if you are preparing to be a professional software engineer. Over the past years of university, I have taken all the necessary computer science lectures, including Computer Architecture, Operating System, Database, Computer Network. Most interesting course was Multicore GPU Programming, where I learned about parallel programming with c++ and used Nvidia CUDA to build VGG-16 from scratch. The assignments were painful, but I gained a lot from them.

Fun Fact
My all-time favorite food is pork cutlet. I've searched far and wide to find the best pork-cutlet place in Seoul. After munching my way through countless crispy delights, I’ve crowned Shiki-Katsu as the reigning champion. Seriously, if pork cutlets were an Olympic sport, Shiki-Katsu would take the gold! If you know any hidden pork-cutlet gems, please, spill the beans (or the sauce)!
When I’m not programming, you’ll find me lost in the pages of a science fiction novel. My top pick? Andy Weir's 『Project Hail Mary』. It's got everything: space, humor, and a friendly alien neighbor. If you’ve got any sci-fi recommendations that will make me feel like travelling thorugh the galaxy, let me know!
Why I became a Software Engineer
I fell in love with programming because it lets me bring my wildest ideas to life. This daily coding times page is a testament to that. Ever since I watched Harry Potter, I've been obsessed with the idea of moving newspapers. (Yes, that was before the iPad era...) With some simple JavaScript and CSS animations, I can create almost anything!
These days, my passion lies in backend engineering. I'm currently diving deep into compiler-level optimization, studying projects like LLVM and TVM. But I also enjoy working with various frameworks to build web servers and design pages like this one.
I strive to be a "thinking developer." I believe the true strength of a developer comes from diving deep into the code to identify and solve potential problems. The tenacity to dig to the very end is very essential. I am proud to say that I possess that tenacity. Just wait and see what I'll achieve in the next ten years.
